What is Revolution Music Canada?
We are a small organization in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada dedicated to helping the independent music scene. We assist bands with live promotion, recordings, internet promotion. We have a small recording studio where we have recorded a few hundred or a couple thousand songs...who keeps track. We like to have a cool website to download some killer free new music. We like to distribute compilation cd's to promote indie artists. We like to put on live shows to showcase indie talent. We'd like to take crappy major label music out of peoples' homes and replace it with something better. We'd like you to bookmark us. We're not looking to make money. We're just looking to give you some good free music.
How do I submit music to Revolution Music Canada?
You can send it by email to admin@revolutionmusic.net. We will usually listen to mp3's or cd's before links though. Keep in mind, we're really picky bastards, so if you're not a truly kickass band, it's probably best if you don't click the send button. If you are a hard punk or metal band, we'll take a listen to your stuff. If anything, you may gain some new fans. If you're hip hop or rap, we really only appreciate music with no standard sample libraries or loops from other artists. If you have full original productions and are really good, go ahead and send it in. We really appreciate good punk rock, hard core, acoustic, jazz, world, eclectic, psychedelic, indie, and extreme metal. Take a look at our name, listen to our music, and think twice about sending us crap. We are also primarily interested in music with Canadian content.
In the meantime, check out baycore.net for a lot of stuff related to the local music scene: show announcements, bands, music, links, etc. Worth the trip.

We play the music that the other radio stations only wish they could play. We are actively seeking independent and underground music for this show.
